LifeLine Animal Project's Mega Adoption Event at DeKalb Animal Services this Saturday! Fee-Waived Adoptions, Prizes and Fun!

Ready for some fun? Join us this Saturday, June 17, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., at LifeLine’s Mega Adoption Event to help us Clear the DeKalb Shelter! The shelter is located at 845 Camp Road in Decatur.

Join us for:

• Music with DJ Romeo Cologne,
• Kids activities: make a leash or a cat bed,
• Smoking Mo’s BBQ Food Truck, 11am – 3pm,
• Live Broadcast by Streetz 94.5,
• Canine Kissing Booth,
• Photo Booth by SmileBooth,
• Frogs to Dogs Trainers, Pets Playhouse on Ponce and Basic Flavors will answer training, daycare and nutrition questions,
• Raffles Every Hour: All adopters will be entered to win t-shirts, gift baskets and gift certificates, including a night at Hotel Indigo in Midtown with your dog!
• And best of all, hundreds of adoptable FEE-WAIVED animals waiting to give you a life time of love!

LifeLine’s DeKalb County Animal Services Pets of the Week: Shanti and Wilkie

Our first Pet of the Week is Shanti, an adorable one year old who will calmly wait for you to let her out of her kennel before showering you with happy kisses. Shanti is great on a leash, loves playing with squeaky toys, and will curl up into your lap the first chance she gets. Shanti can’t wait to find her forever home, meet her at LifeLine's Dekalb County Animal Services!

Our next Pet of the Week is a one-year-old boy who immediately melts when you pet him! Meet Wilkie, a hunka, hunka happy boy who loves to give kisses and is great with other dogs. This big boy may weigh close to 80 pounds, but that doesn't stop him from climbing in your lap for a little cuddle time. Wilkie is also smart and already knows his basic commands!
