Pine Lake's fall festival, LakeFest, includes two full days of live music on its lakeside Willow Stage, on Saturday and Sunday, October 5th and 6th. Saturday opens with the lively Americana songbook of “Buttered Bourbon.” Then the lineup takes a global turn, with Andean and Latin-American music performed by Mauricio Amaya.

Saturday’s show also features the seasoned jazz of Atlanta favorites, “Tommie Macon and the Gentle Men of Jazz,” followed by “Bright Moments” jazz duo, and the Chicago-style blues of the Avery Sebben Band, with Mike Lowry. “Sound Medicine” will host the Saturday night party, bringing reggae, rock and dub to the LakeFest stage.

There will be a “Cosmic Gospel Hour” on Sunday morning (“all of the music, none of the guilt”) with Melanie Hammet, Cindy Diamond, and Ann Duckworth. Also performing will be “The Greater Atlanta Senior Choir,” the city’s own, “Pine Lake Choir,” and the voices of note of the Atlanta Women’s Chorus ensemble, “Sorellanza.” Crossing over several genres of gospel music, the young and dynamic trio, “Ten Thousand Reasons” will return to our stage by popular demand.
