Local Couple Opens Caring Transitions of Northeast Atlanta

Michael DeLeon and Ophelia Tuo are looking forward to helping families in Northeast Atlanta with their new business, Caring Transitions of Northeast Atlanta.

Caring Transitions’ team is specially trained in organizing, packing, de-cluttering, moving, and resettling as well as in-person and online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. The husband and wife team have spent most of their careers serving. Mike is an Atlanta native and a US Army veteran. He has an engineering degree and spent the last 30 years in information technology. Ophelia is a former commercial bank account manager and business owner as well as a licensed caregiver.

“I had a successful career in I.T., but I was a cog in the wheel. I wanted to own my own business doing something I would really enjoy that could help people. I heard about Caring Transitions when I came across an online auction and, the more I learned about the company, the more I realized this was what I wanted to do and Ophelia was on board too,” Mike said. “Caring Transitions, as a national company, has been around for more than 10 years and the people in this business around the country are really doing it because they care about people and they want to make a positive impact on the people they work with every day.
