Local Dairy Queen Back in Business After Nearly Three Years: Report
The grand opening is scheduled for Monday in restaurant's new location.

DECATUR, GA — A Dairy Queen that closed nearly three years ago will once again offer ice cream treats beginning on Sunday, at a location just 100 feet away from its previous home, according to a media report
The new restaurant, operated by Nisar and Rasul Momin, will open its doors Sunday in the ground floor of an apartment building at 245 East Trinity Place, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. City officials will host a ribbon-cutting at the new Dairy Queen at 10 a.m. Monday.
The previous Dairy Queen operated by the Momins was in a barn-shaped building nearby, AJC.com reported. The barn-shaped building used to be an emblem of the Dairy Queen chain, but the Decatur building was torn down in February 2014.
