Low Cost Vaccines, Adoption Event, Yummy Cakes and Ale Benefit and DeKalb County Animal Services Pet of the Week
Great deals on pet vaccines, a DeKalb County Animal Services adoption event and a yummy fundraiser all going on this weekend.
There are lots of great things happening this weekend! On Saturday, can save money on your pet’s vaccinations at LifeLine Animal Project’s Low Cost Vaccination Clinic. The clinic is located at 129 Lake Street in Avondale Estates, and a veterinarian will be on hand to administer vaccines from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Puppy and kitten vaccine packages are $25 and annual vaccine packages for dogs and cats start at $40.
Also on Saturday, come meet some of the great DeKalb County Animal Services animals available for adoption at the Toco Hills Pet Supermarket Adoption Event. Then event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at PetSmart, 2959 N. Druid Hills Road. Come by, adopt a new love and take advantage of our special adoptions rates – only $20 for dogs and $10, including spay/neuter, vaccines and microchip!
Finally, eat a delicious Sunday meal for a good cause! Please join us for Cakes & Ale Restaurant’s Sunday Supper, this Sunday from 6 to 11 pm, at Cakes & Ale in Decatur, 155 Sycamore Street. The meal willl benefit LifeLine Animal Project! A special menu will be designed for this family-style meal, along with a special selection of house wines, beers and cocktails. DeKalb County Animal Services Pet of the Week: Bethany
Our Pet of the Week is Bethany, a super friendly and sweet ten-month-old beagle mix who loves everyone she meets. If you need someone to adore you, Bethany will do the job and then some! Bethany loves giving kisses and hugs, receiving belly rubs and cuddles, play with squeaky toys and run around with other dogs. And the lucky person who adopts Bethany during our ‘Tail End of Summer’ special, which ends August 31, will pay only $20! This fee includes Bethany’s spay, vaccines, microchip and more!
