Macy's to Close at North DeKalb Mall

North DeKalb Mall’s oldest and largest tenants is closing as soon as next month.

Macy’s is set to close no later than Jan. 20, 2016, according to Tomorrow’s News Today.

The website is also speculating that a Costco may be taking over Macy’s current space.

Macy’s employees were told on Nov. 30 that the store is indeed closing, part of Macy’s plans to close as many as 40 locations nationwide by late January.

Macy’s North DeKalb Mall store was originally a Rich’s, built in 1965. Liquidation sales will begin next Thursday, Dec. 10.
