Man Arrested For Shooting At Decatur Gas Station, Faces Murder Charges: Sheriff's Office
A man was arrested for a Tuesday fatal gas station shooting on Candler Road, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.
DECATUR, GA — The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man who faces murder charges in connection to a Decatur gas station shooting this week.
A 62 year-old Covington, Georgia resident, identified as Jurrell Bethel, turned himself in on Wednesday, according to the Sheriff's Office. The Decatur shooting happened around 4:21 a.m. Tuesday at the Valero Gas Station on Candler Road. Police said they found a man in his 60s dead near the entrance to the gas station
Bethal is charged him with Malice Murder in the death of Decatur resident Ronald Tyrone Hodge on April 26.

According to the warrant, Bethel shot Hodge in the face during an altercation. No motive was given for the shooting, the Sheriff's Office said.
Bethel is being held at the DeKalb County Jail without bond.
