Man Charged With Impersonating DeKalb Police Officer: Police
A man has been charged with impersonating a DeKalb police officer and sexually assaulting a woman.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A man impersonating a police officer and sexually assaulted a woman was arrested Monday, according to DeKalb police.
Christopher Griggs wore tactical gear, a badge and had a firearm when he approached the victim. DeKalb police said Griggs isn’t an officer and it’s not clear how he acquired the gear and gun.
