The man would not get off the train tracks despite the train engineer frantically blowing his horn.

A man was killed on Tuesday afternoon when he was hit by a train just off of Roxboro Road in DeKalb County.
According to 11 Alive News, the Norfolk Southern train was traveling from Chamblee to East Point at approximately 4:30 p.m. when a man stepped onto the tracks at 1050 Lenox Park Blvd. The engineer blew his horn and began slowing the train down, but the man did not leave the tracks and the train was unable to stop in time.
Police remained on scene for several hours collecting evidence, FOX 5 Atlanta said. The station did not give the man’s name, but said he was a Buckhead resident in his 30s.
