Man Shot, Killed In DeKalb Church Parking Lot
The 19-year-old man and some friends were cutting through the church parking lot when he was shot, according to police.

LITHONIA, GA — Police are searching for suspects after a 19-year-old man was shot and killed in the parking lot of a DeKalb County church.
According to DeKalb County Police, the shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of Big Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The church is on the corner of Big Miller Grove Way and Salem Road, off of Panola Road near Lithonia.
Police say the young man, whom police had not publicly identified Tuesday morning, was cutting through the parking lot with some friends when he was shot in the chest. He died at the scene, according to a DeKalb County Police spokeswoman.
