According to Clarkston Police, Griffin knocked on the woman's door during the day on May 11, claiming he was looking to do some yard work. He left and the woman left her home for the day but, when she returned, authorities say Griffin was inside her home and immediately attacked her, hitting her with some kind of blunt object.
