Man's Body Found In Car, Prompting I-285 W Shutdown

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — All lanes on Interstate 285 west are shut down Tuesday afternoon while police investigate after finding a man's body inside of a car, according to 11Alive.

The outlet reported several police cars are near Moreland Avenue and Interstate 675 east.

DeKalb County police told Patch they believe the man crashed his car after being shot.

The man is in his 40s, police said.

There are no suspects in custody, police said.

All lanes are expected to reopen in the next two hours, police said.
