Meet LifeLine's DeKalb Pets of the Week: Shilah and Hiromi
Shilah is a southern gentleman. Hiromi is friends with the shelter pig! Meet them now at LifeLine Animal Project's DeKalb County shelter.
Well hello there! My name is Shilah, and the good folks at the shelter tell me I’m a true southern gentleman. I must admit that I love that compliment and try to do it justice by standing tall and proud, minding my manners and showing people affection when appropriate. They also say that I’m very handsome and have super soft fur and soulful brown eyes (I’m blushing!). So what do I enjoy doing? Taking walks with my humans, playing with people and dogs, running around outside and then laying by your side and letting you know how much I love you. Could you use a gentleman like me in your life?
Hi, I’m Hiromi! My name in Japanese means “widespread beauty,” and shelter employees say they chose that name for me because I’m beautiful inside and out! I have a lovely charcoal-colored coat, am super affectionate and, more than anything, I want to please my humans! I also try to be kind to all the animals here at the shelter, and have even made friends with a creature called a pig. Come meet me and my piggy friend today!
Come meet Shilah and Hiromi today by dropping by 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, emailing adoptions@dekalbanimalservices.com or calling (404) 294-2165.
