The lab was allegedly set up across from Pine Ridge Elementary in Stone Mountain.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — Police have busted what they say is a meth lab located across the street from a Stone Mountain elementary school.

Pedro Suarez-Rangel, 23, and Juan Perez-Garcia, 28, have been arrested and charged with distributing or possessing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, according to CBS46.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) said it had set up surveillance on the house after being tipped off that a meth lab might be inside. The Georgia State Highway Patrol also stopped a vehicle outside the house and discovered more than 13 pounds of meth.
