3rd Annual "Stand Up for Stand Down" Toiletries Collection Drive benefitting Homeless Veterans
Georgia Cancer Specialists and Northside Hospitals have partnered with metro Atlanta Pilot International Clubs for their annual collection of personal care/toiletry items to be distributed to homeless military veterans attending the Stand Down at the VA Medical Center on Clairmont Rd, Decatur, GA scheduled for October 4th between 7:30am and 3:30pm.
Items being collected include travel/trial or full sizes of toothpaste/toothbrushes, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, body wash or soap, hand sanitizer, antiseptic/analgesic lotions (for bug bites), combs/brushes and feminine products (for homeless female vets)

The Stand Down provided medical screening and services, employment and housing counseling to more than 650 homeless vets at the one-day event in 2013.
