Movie Shooting Scenes in North Decatur Friday, Monday

Production staff will take care to not disrupt the flow of traffic, but will require intermittent traffic control to get scenes shot.

North Decatur residents may get caught up in traffic delays caused by a movie shoot happening at a local church on Frday and Monday of next week.

Sony Pictures said it would be shooting scenes for the Jennifer Garner and Queen Latifah movie β€œMiracles from Heaven” at North Decatur Presbyterian Church from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, but it’s not clear if crews will use the same schedules Friday and Monday.

β€œIn order to properly capture the emotion of the scene, we’ve requested to use intermittent traffic control on Scott Blvd,” the production company says. β€œCare will be taken not to block area residents or business access to these streets.”
