New Brew Pub Coming to Oakhurst

Decatur GA -- A new brew pub is set to open sometime in early 2016 at the old Family Dollar store location in Oakhurst.

According to a Reddit posting, the owners are looking for candidates for their head brewing position.

“Previous experience is required,” the post said. “We are looking for someone with strong opinions about their beer and how they want the brew setup to be designed. The brewer hired will have the benefit of designing the lay out of the brewhouse/ fermentation tanks to their liking within the building limitations.”

Decatur Metro is reporting that the brew pub will be located in the old Mulligans location at 630 East Lake Drive.

On Reddit, the owners also said, “We have a location in Oakhurst and will be signing a lease this week or next. The location is around 4,500 square feet. There will be a roof top deck garden to enjoy a beer on a nice day or watch a movie on a projector screen. There will also be an outside area next to the pub with some fun elements that we are still working on.”
