New Poll Shows Huge Trump Lead in Georgia

Atlanta GA -- A new poll conducted just after Tuesday night’s CNN Republican debate shows Donald Trump with a commanding lead in Georgia.

The FOX 5 poll’s results, issued Thursday afternoon, show Trump leading in Georgia with 34 percent. Sen. Ted Cruz comes in second, with 15.8 percent.

Sen. Marco Rubio finished with 12 percent. No other GOP candidate scored double digits in the poll.

Survey respondents also picked former Florida Jeb Bush as the debate’s main loser.

The poll was conducted of 538 Georgia voters on the evening of December 16, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.2 percent.
