Oakhurst Fifth Avenue 5K, Mayor's Mile Set For Saturday
Oakhurst has had an October 5K race for more than 20 years.
DECATUR, GA — The Oakhurst Fifth Avenue 5k and The Mayor's Mile is set for this Saturday, Oct. 8, beginning at 9 am.
The event benefits the 4/5 Academy at Fifth Avenue and the Decatur Education Foundation.
This year's race begins at F.AVE at 101 Fifth Avenue and ends in Oakhurst Village.

The Mayor's Mile has been added to this year's event, where participants can walk or run alongside the city's commissioners and former mayors.

Prizes will be awarded to the overall open and master male and female finishers. Age group awards and highest class participation will also be recognized.
