Murray Timoner of Atlanta passed away early Friday morning at the age of 90. A Veteran of WW11 and Purple Heart recipient Murray was preceded by his loving wife Carol Strauss Timoner and survived by his 3 children, daughters Doris Timoner Brown (Bruce Stuart Brown) of Loganville, GA, JoAnn Timoner Blankenship (Joseph Michael Blankenship) of Puriscal, Costa Rica and son Martin Strauss Timoner, of Alpharetta Ga. 4 Granddaughters, Sarah Kate Blankenship (William Leslie Wade) of Suwanee GA, Rachael Blankenship, of Mertzon, TX, Jennifer Beth Brown of Loganville, GA, Marissa Anne Timoner, of Marietta, GA and 2 Great Grandsons, Devon Michael Blankenship, and William Caleb Wade of Suwanee GA.
Services will be held at the National Cemetery, Canton GA with Military Honors, on Wednesday, November 6, 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
