One Dead After DeKalb Gas Station Shooting

DeKalb County police are investigating a Thursday morning shooting at a gas station in unincorporated Decatur which left one person dead.

A person was found shot in the chest inside a red truck at the Valero on Candler Road at approximately 6:30 a.m. Thursday, WSB-TV reports. The 20-year-old victim was rushed to a local hospital, but later died from their wounds.
Police continue to investigate.
