Parent's Gun Leads To Lockdown At DeKalb High School

School officials say the campus was locked down as a precaution Wednesday morning.

LITHONIA, GA — Martin Luther King Jr. High School in DeKalb County was on lockdown Wednesday morning after a parent reportedly brought a gun into the school.

DeKalb County Schools spokeswoman Shierra Campbell said the campus, at 3991 Snapfinger Rd., was locked down as a precaution, but that it turned out the parent had "no ill intent."
