Help Under-Served Children in Avondale

Path to Shine is looking for volunteers with a little patience, commitment, and a willing heart.

For the 2016-2017 school year, volunteers will meet every Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. at Avondale First Baptist Church and walk next door to Avondale Elementary School to pick up the children in the program. They will enjoy a snack and some playtime before hitting the books with homework and tutoring, all in a supportive and nurturing environment. The program wraps up with a story or a speaker addressing life choices that determine future success.

All program participants receive support, attention, and love. Please consider volunteering.
