Person Hit By MARTA Train

ATLANTA, GA -- A person was hit by a MARTA train Thursday afternoon, transit officials say.

WGCL-TV is reporting that the incident happened at the East Lake MARTA station.

A spokesperson with MARTA told the station that the person was in the path of the train when hit.
