'Pete The Cat' Run/Walk Set for April 30
The event will feature 5K and 1-mile races as well as a "Tot Trot."

DECATUR, GA -- The 9th Annual Beat The Street For Little Feet race, benefiting Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool, is set for April 30 in Decatur.
The race's coveted "Pete the Cat" t-shirts, with artwork by local artist James Dean, will be back for the event, which will feature 5K, 1-mile and Tot Trot runs.
Race day will include a children's activity area with tables created by Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool parents and teachers, local vendors, product demos and a shoe-donation area.

The race is also a Team Decatur Grand Slam Fitness Challenge qualifying event.
Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool was founded with the goal of creating an ethnically, culturally and economically diverse community that is united through its commitment to parental involvement in education and to fostering a respect for the environment.

Located in Decatur, OCP currently offers morning classes, five days a week for children 2 years to Pre-K.
The race day schedule is as follows:
7 a.m.: Packet pick-up and race day registration open
8 a.m.: 5K Race
Immediately after 5K finish: 1 Mile Race
Immediately following the 1 Mile: Tot Trot
9:30 a.m.: Awards
