Pilates Studio Opening In Toco Hills

DECATUR, GA — The nation's largest Pilates franchise is opening its doors in north Decatur this week.

Club Pilates is set to open Thursday, with a grand opening celebration planned for Sept. 15. It joins a wave of new businesses coming to the Toco Hills Shopping Center, at 2943 N. Druid Hills Rd.

The club says it offers members full-body workouts that improve posture, balance, flexibility and strength. To celebrate the opening, Club Pilates Toco Hills will be offering 20 percent off memberships for the first three months and free intro classes will be offered all weekend.

Members can choose classes at four different skill levels and eight signature workouts using a variety of equipment. The Toco Hills location will be operated by general manager Taylor Thompson, a certified Pilates instructor.

"Pilates is more than a workout, it’s a lifestyle. I was thrilled to become a part of Club Pilates because it welcomes every age, body type and athletic ability," Thompson said in a news release. "The calm and inviting environment combined with a group dynamic will make us stand out from any other fitness option and I’m excited to introduce Club Pilates to the Toco Hills community."
