Plane Crashes After Over-Shooting At DeKalb Airport

County officials said no one was injured though the pilot and a passenger were onboard the plane at the time of the accident.

DECATUR, GA — There were no injuries Wednesday after a plane landing at the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport "over-shot the main runway" and caused an accident, DeKalb County officials said.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m., when the pilot and passenger were onboard the plane. County officials said no people, vehicles or buildings were hit.

The Federal Flight Standards District Office is investigating the accident.
