According to WSB-TV, search and rescue teams found the body of Lauren Jenee Lamar, 26, floating in the bay early Tuesday. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the find was made near the Matheson Hammock Marina at 6:40 a.m. Lamar had been missing since Sunday night, when she disappeared off of a boat with two other people on board.

WSB-TV reports that the two people on board the boat told police they thought Lamar was below deck sleeping and did not realize she was not aboard until they moored at the marina at 11 p.m. Sunday.

Lamar was raised locally, but had been living in Miami for years, the AJC reports. The newspaper discovered Lamar’s LinkedIn profile, which shows her as working at a Marriott hotel in Miami and having several other jobs in the area.

Police will not take any action on possible criminal charges until an autopsy is completed.
