Police Cracking Down On Moreland Ave. Drag Racing
The Sunday night operation came a week after a Dodge Charger flew off the road and landed on its side in a DeKalb auto repair shop.

DECATUR, GA — DeKalb County Police are cracking down on drag racing on a stretch of Moreland Avenue notorious as a hotspot for the races.
WSB-TV reports that police late Sunday night towed several cars and made several arrests on Moreland. The crackdown came a week after a Dodge Charger flew off the road and crashed into an auto repair shop, landing on its side.
The Charger flew over concrete barricades shop owners had installed because their shop already had been hit several times by speeding cars.
