Police Investigating Burglary at Real Estate Office

Police are investigating a burglary that happened early Friday morning at the Common Ground Real Estate office on W. Ponce de Leon Avenue.
The incident happened around 2:30 am, according to Decatur police Lt. Jennifer Ross.

“The complainant reported she was walking in the area about 15 minutes earlier and witnessed four young males [and] throw a rock through the business window,” Ross said, who added the men took some unidentified items and fled in a white Mercedes Benz sedan.
Police later discovered more than 60 vehicles had been burglarized over several parking decks throughout the downtown area.

“Surveillance video from one of the parking decks shows suspects in a newer model white Mercedes Benz sedan in the deck prior to the burglary,” Ross said.
