Philip Rafshoon is stepping down as program director of the AJC Decatur Book Festival.
Former assistant program director Julie Wilson has been named his successor, according to Decatur Metro.

The book festival has become one of the nation’s largest independent book fests under Rafshoon’s leadership, who took over in December 2012.
In a statement, Rafshoon said he is pursuing event planning, promotion, sales and development opportunities.
