Residents Propose New School Construction Bond
They're hoping to get the $75 million bond on the Nov. 3 ballot.

A group called Decatur Citizens for Kids is trying to get a $75 million school construction bond on this November’s ballot.
According to Decaturish, the bond would allow the school system to borrow money for school construction, and taxes would likely increase by 8 percent as a result.
Decatur Citizens for Kids has registered with the state Campaign Finance Commission and has created a website – goyesdecatur.org – with information about the bond issue.
