Sanitation Schedule In DeKalb County For Christmas
Here's when your garbage will be picked up during the next week if you live in DeKalb County.

DECATUR, GA — If you're wondering when all those empty boxes and crumbled up balls of wrapping paper are going to get picked up in DeKalb County, here's your answer.
DeKalb has released its sanitation pickup schedule for garbage, recycling and yard trimmings for Christmas week. It goes as follows:
- Monday, Dec. 25 – Christmas Day observed; no collection service.
- Tuesday, Dec. 26 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Monday will be serviced on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
- Wednesday, Dec. 27 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Tuesday will be serviced on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
- Thursday, Dec. 28 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Wednesday will be serviced on Thursday, Dec. 28.
- Friday, Dec. 29 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Thursday will be serviced on Friday, Dec. 29.
Seminole Road Landfill will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25, and will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 26, during normal operating hours.
