Shallowford Presbyterian Sets Second Informal Sunday Night Service
"Messy Church @ SPC" returns to deliver interactive, creative worship for all ages
Shallowford Presbyterian Church will hold the second “Messy Church @ SPC,” a monthly Sunday evening worship service, on November 8 from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. in the Chapel on the church’s campus, 2375 Shallowford Rd., Atlanta, GA 30345, (404) 321.1844.
Get ready for Thanksgiving this year with a special gratitude-themed service that will feature whimsical visual arts and acoustic music including “Simple Gifts” and “Now Thank We All Our God.” Afterwards, all attendees are invited to a simple family-style harvest dinner where they can meet new friends.
“We’re excited to offer an informal service and call it Messy Church because of its casual, interactive nature,” said Rev. Sara Hayden, one of the organizers. “It’s a come-as-you-are gathering with music, activities, a message and break-out elements for children and tots. “
