Smoke Grenade Thrown Into DeKalb McDonald's: Report

Reports say the customer paid for their food at the drive-through, tossed the smoke grenade into the window and sped off.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A DeKalb County McDonald's got an unexpected payment from a customer Monday night. After paying for a meal at the drive-through window, a customer threw a smoke grenade into the restaurant, according to reports.

Channel 2 Action News reported police as saying the customer at the North Druid Hills McDonald's threw the grenade through the drive-through window and sped off in a dark SUV.

Nobody was hurt in the incident, and investigators are looking through surveillance videos to identify the vehicle.
