Stone Mountain Man Arrested In Connection With Fatal Shooting

DECATUR, GA — A 24-year-old Stone Mountain man was arrested Wednesday as a suspect in the shooting death of an unidentified woman last month, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department announced.

Faruk Adedapo Fadesire was taken into custody by member of the sheriff's department's fugitive unit and DeKalb marshals on a warrant in connection with the Oct. 24 death of the woman, who has not been identified by police, but who also resided in Stone Mountain, police said Wednesday. The woman was found shot in the head at a Memorial Drive home, according to the arrest warrant. No probable cause for the incident was provided.

Fadesire was taken to the DeKalb County Jail following his arrest and is being held without bond, police said.
