Super cheap live theatre this weekend

$10 tix this weekend for God of Carnage at On Stage

Not often can you see live theatre for less than the price of a movie. Merely Players is offering $10 tickets this weekend to all performances of God of Carnage, an uproarious comedy of adults behaving badly. The show is at OnStage Atlanta in Decatur, Friday through Sunday.

Following a playground altercation between two 11-year-old boys in Brooklyn’s upscale Cobble Hill neighborhood, the boys’ parents agree to meet to discuss the situation civilly – “practice the art of co-existence” rather than “slaughter each other with insurance claims.” However, the veneer of polite society soon falls away as the two couples regress to childish accusations, bullying and bickering themselves. The Tony Award-winning play was written by Yasmina Reza (translated by Christopher Hampton). Joan McElroy is the director.

Tickets are a available at www.onstageatlanta.com and use the promo code “tulip”.
