Teen Arrested, Charged In Pellet Gun Shooting At DeKalb School
A 14-year-old suspect has been arrested in North Carolina in connection with a BB gun shooting at a Stone Mountain school.

DECATUR, GA -- A 14 year-old male who was being sought by authorities for shooting at elementary school students during recess in Stone Mountain has been arrested in Durham, North Carolina. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit received an arrest warrant on April 30 after a teenage male was identified as a suspect.
The suspect allegedly injured 10 students when he fired a pellet gun outside Wynbrooke Elementary School on April 25 where other children were on the playground.
Sheriff’s office investigators and DeKalb Schools police located the suspect and alerted Durham police, who took the suspect into custody. He is being extradited to Georgia and is facing aggravated assault weapon felony charges.
