Tiny Doors Hidden Across Decatur; Can You Find Them All?

The next time you’re in downtown Decatur, be on the lookout for doors.

Not the people-sized doors that grant you entry and exit to the various buildings, but any of 32 very small “fairy” doors that are hidden from plain view.

Each of the fairy doors was created by a local artist and has been strategically placed in the city as part of the “Secret Doors Decatur” art project. The project is the brainchild of local artist Larry Holland and is funded by the Decatur Arts Alliance.

The doors are hidden outside prominent locales like the Brickstore Pub, The Marlay House, The Pinewood, and more. You can see each of the doors on Secret Doors Decatur’s website, but hopefully it will still be a challenge to find them!

With temperatures expected to sit in the mid 90s all weekend, it might not be a bad idea to go on a door-finding adventure with your family!
