Tornadoes Possible on Christmas Eve
Warm temperatures and heavy rain are forecast for metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

Peachtree City GA -- Tornadoes are possible on Thursday, as metro Atlanta and north Georgia brace for one of the wettest and hottest Christmas seasons on record.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a 100 percent chance of rain today, with a high of 71. For tonight, an 80 percent chance of rain exists, with lows in the 60s.
Rain is forecasted to move out Wednesday morning, with some isolated storms remaining in the area, according to Channel 2 Action News. But a cold front will approach late Wednesday night, bringing more storms and a chance of severe weather -- including tornadoes -- into Christmas Eve morning.

A high temperature of 72 is forecast for Thursday, and the Christmas Day high temperature record of 72 degrees may fall, as a high of 75 is predicted.
