Touch A Truck Coming to Decatur This Weekend
Vehicles from the City of Decatur and DeKalb County will be open for exploration during the Saturday event.

Families with kids or adults who can’t get enough of big trucks are welcome to come out to the City of Decatur’s Touc A Truck event being held this weekend.
According to Be Active Decatur, several heavy duty vehicles operated by the city and by DeKalb County will appear at the Callaway Parking lot at 120 West Trinity Place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Youngsters and adults will be able to get up close and personal with the trucks, even getting a chance to get in the driver’s seat.
Parking for the free event will be available at the adjacent county parking deck, writes Be Active Decatur. Cyclists who choose to come to the event on their bikes can also enter their rides into the Decatur Police Department’s fledgling bicycle database, which will help police track down the owner and maybe even the thief of the bike if it’s ever stolen.
