Tractor-Trailer Crashes Into DeKalb School Bus
Eight students from Decatur and Stone Mountain were injured in the Monday afternoon collision, according to authorities.

DECATUR, GA — Eight students were injured Monday afternoon when a tractor-trailer hit a DeKalb County school bus on Interstate 285.
According to school officials, the bus had stopped alongside the interstate when it was rear-ended by the tractor-trailer. Nineteen students from Cedar Grove Middle School in Decatur and Champion Theme School in Stone Mountain.
DeKalb County fire officials say all of the injuries in the crash appeared minor, but that some parents did choose to take their children to hospitals to be checked out. One child was taken to a children's hospital, according to a schools spokeswoman.

It remained unclear Tuesday afternoon whether any charges will be filed in the crash.
