Tucker Restaurant Week Will 'Drive Local Tourism' Says Organizers
The five-day event will take place February 23-27 at more than a dozen of Tucker's best eateries, according to organizers.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA β Restaurants across the City of Tucker are preparing to welcome patrons for a new tradition, the inaugural Tucker Restaurant Week, according to a news release.
The five-day event will take place February 23-27 at more than 20 of Tuckerβs best eateries. It is being organized by the Cityβs Convention and Visitors Bureau, Discover DeKalb.
βOne of the things weβve found that drives local tourism around metro Atlanta is food,β said Discover DeKalb Executive Director and CEO James Tsismanakis in a joint statement. βTucker has some restaurants that have been staples in the area for decades and others that are among the newest and hottest on the Atlanta foodie scene. Itβs a diverse restaurant climate that folks are going to love to explore.β

βWeβre always excited to invite folks to explore Tucker, and Restaurant Week is just another way to extend that hospitality,β said Tucker Mayor Frank Auman in the release. βWhether youβre coming from Smyrna or Suwanee, Dunwoody or Doraville, weβre glad to have you and think youβre in for a real treat.β
