Tutoring Business Opening in Downtown Decatur

Tutoring Solutions of Atlanta, an academic tutoring, test prep, and college planning company is opening its doors in Decatur this May.

Tutoring Solutions of Atlanta, an academic tutoring, test prep, and college planning company, is opening its doors in downtown Decatur this May. They will share their new space at 112 Church Street with the experiential travel company, Lost World Adventures. Tutoring Solutions has been serving the Buckhead community for nearly fourteen years and currently employs sixteen tutors, most with PhDs or years of industry experience in their field of study. They cover elementary through college level content in chemistry, physics, biology, statistics, economics, computer science, writing, English, and Spanish. They also provide standardized test preparation for the PSAT, SAT, ACT, GED, and SSAT, as well as most AP exams. Their College and Gap Year counselors assist students through all steps of the college application process including essay writing guidance and interview coaching. For those wishing to take a break from traditional academics before college, they help plan and schedule a meaningfully structured year between high school and a student’s first year of college. During the summer they offer academic enrichment and head start camps to help students transition into new classes with confidence and early knowledge of the content.

The tutors and staff are excited about their new venture and look forward to meeting the individual academic needs of students in the Decatur neighborhood, a place many of them raised their own children and have called home for years.
