Emory University's Department of Dermatology will host a vitiligo awareness & support group event, in collaboration with Vitiligo Bond Inc, a registered nonprofit organization that seeks to provide support for those living with vitiligo.
Vitiligo is a pigmentation disorder in which the cells that make pigment in the skin are destroyed resulting in white patches that appear on the skin in different parts of the body.
The event will offer information about vitiligo, as well as provide a Q & A forum for participants.
