According to The Decatur Minute, volunteers will first assemble on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Veteran’s Rock and place flags on all graves and memorials having to do with veterans. Veteran’s Rock is in the new cemetery; enter the cemetery through the Church Street gate and head to the area above the pond.

If you cannot make it out to tonight’s event, volunteers are also wanted to place flowers at those same graves on Sunday, May 24 at 6 p.m. Again, volunteers will meet at Veteran’s Rock, The Decatur Minute Says.
