The AJC report says that the Waffle House will take up space at 515 N McDonough St., under popular comedy club Eddie’s Attic. Plans call for the false front to be torn down, exposing the old building’s original brick facade. Construction should be complete some time this summer.

Additionally, the AJC reports that Dairy Queen will return to Decatur with a store on the ground floor of the Trinity Triangle/Arlo development at the intersection of E Trinity Place and E Howard Avenue. Construction on the five-story mixed-use development began in late September of last year with a planned completion date of June 2016, according to civil engineering firm ColeJenest and Stone.
