Higher Calling Christian Academy (HCCA) is a faith-based learning community located in South DeKalb County dedicated to helping children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Summer Camp 2026 theme, “Choose Your Adventure: A Summer of Discovery at HCCA,” gives families the flexibility to enroll their child for the entire summer or select individual weeks based on their child’s interests. Throughout the summer, campers ages 5–12 will experience engaging, hands-on learning through themed weeks focused on gardening and sustainability, STEAM exploration, sports and teamwork, entrepreneurship, leadership, and creative discovery. According to the county, COVID-19 protocols will be in place. The warming centers will be at the following locations: <ul><li>Fire Station 3, 100 N. Clarendon Avenue, Avondale Estates</li><li>Fire Station 4, 4540 Flakes Mill Road, Ellenwood</li><li>Fire Station 6, 2342 Flat Shoals Road, Atlanta</li></ul> According to the National Weather Service, DeKalb County is under a freeze warning, starting midnight Wednesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday. The county is also under a freeze watch, starting Wednesday night through Thursday morning, according to the NWS.
