Water Line Repairs Planned Along Reindeer Drive

The project is scheduled to start Oct. 3 and will last about 14 months.

DECATUR, GA — The county will launch the Reindeer Drive Phase 2 Water Line Replacement Project on Oct. 3, county officials said in a news release.

DeKalb County is slated to replace 17,400 linear feet at a water line near Shepherds Lane and 15,800 linear feet at a water line near Woodland Hills with new 8-inch- and 12-inch-diameter ductile-iron water lines along Reindeer Drive, officials said.

The project will last about 14 months.

Construction will take place from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, excluding major holidays. Traffic may increase during work hours, officials said.

A virtual community meeting about the project is 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, via Zoom.
