What to Do if You Witness Animal Cruelty

Meet LifeLine's DeKalb County Pets of the Week: a playful and relaxed one-year-old boy, and a sweet, beefy Lab mix who loves everything!

If you witness animal cruelty, it is important that you report it, because you may be the only voice for that animal. Additionally, most animal abusers go on to hurt people. In fact, up to 71% of domestic violence victims report that their abuser has threatened, harmed or killed their pets.
